Lise Kveberg is a Researcher at the University of Oslo's Center for Precision Immunotherapy (PRIMA), Faculty of Medicine. Her work focuses on Immunology and Cell therapy, particularly NK cell biology and its clinical applications.
- Doctorate in Immunology (2005)
- Master of Science in Biology (1998)
Her research explores NK cell receptors, immune checkpoints, and HLA interactions using rodent models. Key contributions include:
- 2024: Discovery of GPR56 as an inhibitory checkpoint for NK cell migration
- 2023: Characterization of KIR/HLA allelic variation in NK cell functional hierarchy
- 2022: Development of superdonor-derived NK cells for HLA-mismatched AML therapy
Recent publications highlight her work in chemotaxis regulation, receptor-ligand dynamics, and transplant immunology. She collaborates with the Malmberg Group and previously coordinated the Center for Immune Regulation (2014-2018).
