Dr. Lise Korsten is a Professor at the University of Pretoria's Department of Microbiology and Plant Pathology, co-director of the Centre of Excellence in Food Security, and a leading authority in food safety and agricultural microbiology. Her work addresses antimicrobial resistance in fresh produce supply chains and irrigation water quality.
