Lisbeth Olsson

Lisbeth Olsson is a Professor at the Department of Industrial Biotechnology, Chalmers University of Technology, where she has worked since 2008. She is co-director and principal investigator at the Wallenberg Wood Science Center and contributes to Chalmers Area of Advance Energy. Her research focuses on industrial biotechnology for sustainable biorefineries using enzymes and microorganisms to convert lignocellulosic biomass into fuels, chemicals, and functional food ingredients.
