Dr. Lisanne Groen is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, holding positions in the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law, the Kooijmans Institute, and the Fundamental Rights, Regulation and Responsible Government unit. Her research focuses on constitutional governance, administrative accountability, and crisis law. She teaches courses on Fundamental Rights, Constitutional Law, and the Rule of Law. Groen actively contributes to legal discourse through editorial work, public lectures, and expert consultations on topics like governmental responsibility and legislative policy. She co-leads a project on student professionalization and has reviewed doctoral theses in public administration. Her writings address contemporary legal challenges such as housing regulations, asylum policies, and constitutional monarchy roles.
