Lisa Webb is a Senior Lecturer and Second Year Tutor in Graphic Design at Coventry University's School of Art and Design, part of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. With 11 years of Higher Education teaching experience, she specializes in Electronic Art and has taught across disciplines including Graphic Design, Illustration, Media Arts, and broader Art and Design fields. She holds a Teaching Excellence Award (2004) and has contributed to pedagogical initiatives such as the School’s PDP strategy, aligning with the University’s employability and enterprise goals.
Her academic roles include membership in key committees: School Board, Board of Study, EEE group, TLRG, TALC, PDP steering group, and Moodle working group. Her research focuses on student motivation, PDP methodologies for transition into HE, and reflective practice in creative industries. She co-founded the SME 'Green Bananas' for print and multimedia projects, blending her artistic practice with academic work.
Recent initiatives include fostering international collaboration with Central South University (China), enabling student exchanges and cultural exhibitions. Her creative practice combines mixed media (silk screen printing and digital technologies), reflecting her interdisciplinary approach to art and education.
