Lisa Sedor is an Associate Professor at DePaul University’s Driehaus College of Business, specifically within the School of Accountancy & MIS. She teaches introductory and advanced auditing courses, drawing on extensive professional experience as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Recognized as an award-winning educator, Dr. Sedor has received multiple honors for teaching excellence, including the Illinois CPA Society’s Outstanding Educator award, the Lawrence W. Ryan Distinguished Undergraduate Teaching Award, and the Quality of Instruction Council Excellence in Teaching Award. Her research bridges cognitive psychology with financial reporting and disclosure contexts.
