Lisa Schuster

Dr. Lisa Schuster is an Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern, affiliated with the REACH program at Children’s Health. This clinic specializes in caring for suspected victims of child abuse or neglect, with providers certified in Child Abuse Pediatrics. Her clinical work involves addressing social-emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns in patients and caregivers, alongside safety/adjustment assessments, brief interventions, and community education. She also supervises psychology trainees and provides expert testimony in legal proceedings.

• Education: M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from University of Detroit Mercy

Her research and clinical focus revolves around child maltreatment, psychosocial risk factors, and developmental health. She actively engages in community outreach and interdisciplinary collaboration through her role in the REACH program.
