Lisa Rowland is a Lecturer at Stanford University in the Theatre Department, specializing in improvisational performance. She teaches the foundational improvisation class that launched her own career in spontaneous theatre, continuing a legacy that began with her participation in the Stanford Improvisors.
Her research and teaching interests center on connected, patient, truthful and spontaneous theatre techniques.
