Lisa Rogers is a Professor of Percussion Studies at Texas Tech University's School of Music, where she also serves as the Associate Director for Applied Programs & Faculty Affairs. Her roles include teaching applied percussion, directing ensembles like the Texas Tech Steel Drum Band “Apocalypso Now,” and performing as Principal Timpanist with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra.

Rogers' research and professional focus spans percussion pedagogy, ensemble performance, and music humanities.
