Lisa Puglisi, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Yale University, affiliated with the Yale School of Medicine. Her primary role is in General Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine, with a focus on improving healthcare access for individuals with criminal justice involvement. She directs the Transitions Clinic New Haven, a multidisciplinary program supporting those returning to communities post-incarceration. Puglisi’s research emphasizes healthcare equity, addiction treatment, and cardiovascular risk management in marginalized populations.
Education: BA from Tufts University (undergraduate), MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. She also completed a Chief Resident term at Yale-New Haven Hospital in 2013.
