Emily Wang, MD, MAS is a Professor at Yale School of Medicine and Yale School of Public Health, directing the SEICHE Center for Health and Justice—a collaboration with Yale Law School to address mass incarceration’s health impacts. Her NIH-funded Health Justice Lab explores how incarceration affects chronic diseases like cardiovascular conditions, cancer, and opioid use disorder.
