Lisa Owens

Lisa Owens, PhD is an Assistant Professor at the UMass School of Law, specializing in the public law of property. She holds a JD from Boston College Law School, an LLM from Boston University School of Law, and a PhD in Sociology from Columbia University (2020). Her research examines constitutional issues in property law, housing, and wealth inequality, with publications in journals such as Sociological Methodology, Gender and Society, and The Stanford University Law and Policy Review.
