Lisa Martin

Lisa Martin, Ph.D., is a Professor at the University of Michigan Dearborn with joint appointments in Women’s and Gender Studies and Health & Human Services. She serves as Interim Assistant Dean for Assessment and Accreditation and Department Chair of Health & Human Services, while directing the Women's and Gender Studies program. She earned her Ph.D. in Public Health (Health Behavior & Health Education) from the University of Michigan, an M.A. in Gender & Cultural Studies from Simmons University, and a B.S. in Biology from Lafayette College.

Her research focuses on abortion provider stigma, reproductive health disparities, and mental health, with emphasis on global interventions like the Providers Share Workshop.
