Lisa Marchand

Lisa Ann Marchand, DNP, FNP-C, FNAP is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Susan and Alan Solomont School of Nursing at the Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences, University of Massachusetts Lowell. She serves as the DNP/MS NP Program Coordinator and has a decade of experience as adjunct faculty.

• Education: DNP (2018), MS in Family Health Nursing (2003), BS in Nursing (1996), BS in Biology (1990) – all from UMass Lowell except Biology (UMass Dartmouth)

Her research focuses on pediatric obesity, food insecurity solutions, and improving immunization rates in adolescents. Her 2020 study in The Journal for Nurse Practitioners demonstrated effective HPV vaccination interventions. She teaches across undergraduate, graduate, and RN-to-BSN programs, and precepts Family Nurse Practitioner students.

Affiliations include Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society, NONPF, and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
