Lisa Jones

Lisa M. Jones is a Research Associate Professor at the Crimes against Children Research Center (CCRC) within the University of New Hampshire's Department of Psychology. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rhode Island (1999) and has over 20 years' research experience in child victimization.

Jones investigates commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC), technology-facilitated victimization, and hate crime dynamics. Her work combines epidemiological analysis with prevention program evaluation, emphasizing at-risk youth populations and law enforcement responses.

Recent publications address suicide prevention frameworks, trauma-informed research methodologies, and community-based violence intervention models, reflecting applied translational research approaches.

Jones leads multiple federal grants including a CDC-funded RCT on trafficking prevention education and NIJ studies on child sexual abuse surveillance. She teaches JUST 602: Research Internship and has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications.
