Lisa Hillmann is an Assistant Professor of Financial Accounting and Business Taxation at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, affiliated with the Finance and Accounting Group. She holds a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Göttingen, completed in 2020.
Her research focuses on empirical studies at the intersection of corporate taxation, financial accounting, and corporate finance. She investigates how institutional factors such as tax regulations, accounting standards, and policy uncertainty influence corporate decision-making.
