Lisa Hadwin is a Public Relations Lecturer and Programme Leader for the Integrated Foundation Year in English, Journalism, and Media Theory at the University of Sunderland. She holds an MSc in Corporate Communications and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Higher Education. Her research focuses on public relations ethics, stakeholder management, and practical applications of PR theory in government, heritage, and tourism sectors. She emphasizes bridging academic theory and professional practice in her teaching.
Previously working as an in-house PR practitioner, Lisa brings industry experience to her academic role. Her professional affiliations include membership in Advanced HE. She is based at the David Puttnam Media Centre and actively contributes to curriculum development for PR and media programs.
