Lisa Gresham Huettel is the Edmund T. Pratt, Jr. School Professor of the Practice of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University's Pratt School of Engineering, where she also serves as Associate Dean of Undergraduate Education. She holds a BS from Harvard University and MS/PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from Duke University. Her research focuses on engineering education, pedagogy, curriculum development, and applications of statistical signal processing. Dr. Huettel has led significant curriculum redesign efforts, including theme-based approaches integrating sensing and information processing. She has received numerous awards for teaching excellence, including the ASEE Distinguished Educator Award (2021) and the IEEE Undergraduate Teaching Award (2019).
Her teaching portfolio includes courses like ECE 110L (Fundamentals of Electrical and Computer Engineering) and ECE 381 (Digital Signal Processing).
