Dr. Lisa Forsberg is a Research Fellow at the Oxford Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics and Fulford Junior Research Fellow at Somerville College, University of Oxford. Her interdisciplinary research bridges normative ethics, philosophy of law, and neuroethics, with particular focus on consent frameworks in medical and criminal contexts.
Her research investigates:
- Normative foundations of consent in medical and criminal law
- Ethical implications of neurotechnologies and cognitive interventions
- Conceptual boundaries of bodily and mental integrity rights
- Pandemic ethics and compulsory medical interventions
Notable recognitions include British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship and Fulford Junior Research Fellowship. Her current project 'Changing One's Mind' examines how neurointerventions challenge legal consent frameworks, building on prior work analyzing ethical dimensions of crime-preventing neurointerventions.
