Lisa Dorner

Lisa Dorner is Professor of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis and Director of the Cambio Center at the University of Missouri. Her research examines language education policy, immigrant integration, and dual language bilingual education through qualitative and mixed methods approaches.

Dorner co-founded the Missouri Dual Language Network to connect resources for bilingual education development. Her recent work investigates state funding for refugee education, raciolinguistic mindsets in teaching, and professional development for educational leaders serving Latinx communities. She has received recognition as a Fulbright Specialist to Colombia and maintains active research collaborations examining educational policy implementation in diverse community contexts.
