Lisa Dillman is a Teaching Professor of Spanish and Director of the Honors Program at Emory University. She holds an M.A. in Spanish Literature from Emory University and a second M.A. in Literary Translation from Middlesex University (London). Specializing in literary translation of Spanish and Latin American works, she has translated over 30 novels, including works by Yuri Herrera, Pilar Quintana, and Andrés Barba. Her translations have been National Book Award Finalists (2023, 2020) and recipients of the Best Translated Book Award and Oxford-Weidenfeld Prize.
