Lisa Clarke is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Nursing, Faculty of Education, Health & Wellbeing at the University of Wolverhampton. She serves as programme lead for the Advanced Diploma, PGCert, and PGDip in General Practice Nursing, and is a module lead for physical health assessment and cervical cytology training. She also supervises Master’s students and contributes to national nursing education standards.
Her research and educational focus lies in General Practice Nursing and Community Nursing, with a strong emphasis on education, specialist practice qualification, and continuing professional development. Her work supports the advancement of clinical skills and training for nurses in primary care settings.
The recent publications and contributions reflect a strong trend in nursing education, clinical guidelines, and community healthcare delivery, particularly in primary and general practice settings.

Lisa Clarke supervises Master’s students and has served as an external consultant for the University of Hertfordshire on General Practice Nursing course approval. She has contributed to national review panels including the NMC Specialist Practice Standards and QNI Practice Teacher Standards.
She is actively involved in professional development through her leadership roles in the Association of General Practice Nurse Educators (AAGPNE) and the Queen’s Nursing Institute, contributing to national standards and education frameworks in general practice nursing.
