Lisa Brennan is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she engages in full-time teaching. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (1996), along with an MBA and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
- Clinical Expertise: Cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, emergency room care, geriatric care, and long-term care.
- Leadership & Management: Program development, healthcare management, and visionary leadership.
Her research interests span clinical nursing, healthcare leadership, and geriatric care, with a focus on practical applications in long-term and subacute rehabilitation settings. Brennan has contributed to nursing literature, including a collaborative case study on patient-centered care.
