Lisa Beth Robinson

Lisa Beth Robinson is a Professor at the School of Art and Design at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. She is also the proprietor of Somnambulist Tango Press where she creates artists books, fine art, and installations. Robinson actively collaborates with sculptor Kristin Thielking and is a member of the Catching a Wave Collective, a transdisciplinary research group focused on environmental issues.

Her research centers on environmental themes, particularly ocean health/conservation, wave science, and Colony Collapse Disorder as metaphors for global sociopolitical issues. Robinson's work explores interconnectedness and vanishings, aiming to help people recognize their meaning, connection, and agency in environmental outcomes.
