Lisa Benson-DeVries

Lisa Benson-DeVries, EdD, MSN, MBA, RN, CPAN, is an Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing at Creighton University. She bridges academic theory with clinical practice through her active role as a certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN).

• Doctorate in Education from Nebraska Methodist College
• MSN and MBA from Nebraska Wesleyan University

Her research focuses on perioperative nursing care and patient safety, specifically enhancing post-anesthesia care outcomes through quality improvement initiatives. Recent work includes leading a project on reducing post-operative complications via enhanced recovery protocols, presented at national nursing conferences.
