Lisa Attrill

Lisa Attrill is a Lecturer in Adult Nursing at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, part of the Faculty of Health at the University of Plymouth. Based at the Cornwall Campus (Knowledge Spa), she teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programs (Levels 4-7), specializing in evidence-informed decision making, pharmacology, adult nursing practice, and therapeutic communication.

With a background in NHS and private sector roles, Lisa has served as a Lead Research Nurse managing cross-sector research teams and as a Clinical Practice Educator driving multidisciplinary practice development. Her clinical expertise spans nephrology, diabetes, and midwifery, alongside leadership in healthcare education.
