Liqing He

Liqing He is an Assistant Professor at the University of Louisville, specializing in molecular systems biology with a focus on metabolomics and epitranscriptomics. His research integrates bioanalytical chemistry and bioinformatics to address biomedical challenges, particularly in alcohol-associated liver disease, environmental toxicology, and cancer metabolism.

Education: Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering (Xi’an Jiao-tong University, 2016), M.S. in Zoology (Shaanxi Normal University, 2006), and B.S. in Biology Education (Shaanxi Normal University, 2003).

Research Interests: Dr. He develops advanced chromatography-mass spectrometry platforms for analyzing nucleosides, bile acids, and metabolites. His work includes epitranscriptomic analysis of modified oligonucleotides and metabolomic studies on disease mechanisms.
