Linus Jonsson is a Senior Lecturer at Halmstad University's School of Health and Welfare. He holds a PhD in Sport Science and teaches exercise and health psychology across the Psychology - Sport and Exercise, Professional Career in Sport and Working Life, and Biomedicine - Exercise Physiology programs. As Program Director for the Professional Career in Sport and Working Life program, he focuses on sustainable participation in physical activity through his research with the Movement for Health and Performance (M4HP) research program.
His work emphasizes promoting physical activity, exercise, and sports among children, adolescents, and adults, with particular attention to motivational factors. He contributes to both academic teaching and program leadership at Halmstad University.
