معرفی
Linshan Chu is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford's Institute of Biomedical Engineering. She holds a BEng in Bioengineering from the University of Sheffield (2019), an MSc in Translational Neuroscience from Imperial College London (2020), and a DPhil from the University of Oxford (Neural Interfacing Group, supervised by Professors FitzGerald and Andrews). Her current research focuses on the UK Brain BioLink project under Professor Cathy Ye, advancing functional human neural tissue preservation.
Her research interests span neuromuscular recovery via implantable devices, neuroregeneration mechanisms, and the interplay between metabolic, immune, and microbiome systems in nervous system injuries. Earlier work included Drosophila brain network controllability studies with applications in robotics and clinical diagnostics.
Her recent publication explores leptin's role in axonal regeneration across nervous systems. Linshan collaborates with the Neural Interfacing Group and is part of the Tissue Engineering research cluster at Oxford.
