Linh Truong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Michigan, part of the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. She holds a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Pennsylvania (2011) and a Ph.D. from Princeton University (2016). Her research focuses on low-dimensional topology, applying Heegaard Floer homology and Khovanov homology to study knot concordance, homology cobordism, and monodromies. Her work is supported by an NSF CAREER grant (DMS-2237131).
Dr. Truong organizes the Michigan Topology Intercity Symposium and actively participates in the Michigan Topology Seminar. She contributes to academic outreach and maintains a research program centered on advancing topological methodologies in geometric contexts.
