معرفی
Lingzi Sang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Alberta's Faculty of Science, where she has been employed since August 2018. She earned her B.S. in Chemistry from Xiamen University (2009) and Ph.D. from the University of Arizona (2015), followed by postdoctoral research at the University of Illinois.
Research Focus
Her research employs multidisciplinary characterization approaches combining electrochemistry, spectroscopy, and materials chemistry to study interfacial processes in energy systems. Key research themes include:
- Electrode/electrolyte interfaces in all-solid sodium batteries
- Hysteresis mechanisms in Perovskite Solar Cells
- Material behavior under mechanical stress
Awards and Honors
- Carl S. Marvel Fellow
- Galileo Circle Scholar
- Outstanding Research Scholar
Teaching
She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses including:
- CHEM 211: Quantitative Analysis
- CHEM 424: Optical Spectroscopy & Electrochemistry
- CHEM 512/514: Specialized modules in Optical Spectroscopy and Electrochemistry
