Ling Lim

Dr. Ling Lim is a Research Fellow at Manchester Metropolitan University's Faculty of Science and Engineering. Their research focuses on computational techniques in environmental science, particularly addressing climate impacts of aviation and shipping, contrail-cirrus formation, and climate metrics. Teaching responsibilities include applied mathematics and climate change policy related to aviation.

Key research projects include CATE, REACT4C, QUANTIFY, ATTICA, TEAM_Play, and FORUM-AE. They have been recognized with the 2014 Public Engagement Champion award and actively participate in initiatives like the Social Mobility Foundation Mentoring program and Women in Science, Technology and Engineering (WISE) campaign.
