Linea Cutter is Assistant Professor of Political Science at SUNY Oswego, with research interests in political theory, health politics, and critical nutrition studies. She employs feminist and critical frameworks to analyze how dietary/fitness norms reflect understandings of bodily agency and willpower.
Her research agenda critically examines the cultural premise that bodies are reducible to individual food choices. Cutter teaches courses exploring societal order, political agency, freedom, and power's impact on bodily relationships, including feminist political thought through the Gender and Women's Studies Program.
