Dr. Line Caes is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Stirling's Faculty of Natural Science. Her work focuses on the bidirectional influences between parents and children during painful experiences, particularly in early childhood and chronic illness contexts. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Ghent University and has held academic positions at institutions including NUI Galway and the IWK Health Centre in Canada. Her research emphasizes family functioning, pediatric chronic pain management, and online self-management interventions for adolescents.
