Lindsey Short is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Redeemer University. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Developmental Psychology from Brock University (2014 and 2010) and a B.A. in Psychology from Wittenberg University (2008).

Her research focuses on how experience shapes face recognition and processing, particularly examining environmental factors like face race/age, in-group identification, and educational settings. Key themes include perceptual tuning, norm-based coding, and social categorization effects.
She teaches courses in Developmental Psychology, Research Methods, Social Psychology, and Cognitive Psychology.
She coordinates the RUC Psychology Lab, which trains senior students in empirical research design and provides junior students with hands-on experience in testing procedures.
