Lindsey Chambers is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Kentucky, affiliated with the College of Arts & Sciences. She holds a PhD from UCLA (2016) and previously held postdoctoral positions at Stanford University and Harvard University. Her research focuses on normative ethics, bioethics, and social/political philosophy, particularly the ethics of procreation, reproductive selection, and parental obligations. She explores how moral theories must account for procreative practices to avoid incoherence, emphasizing Kantian frameworks and the moral status of future persons.
