Lindsay Soh

Lindsay Soh is an Associate Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and Department Head at Lafayette College. Her research focuses on sustainability, green solvents, biomass processing, and bio-based materials. She holds a Ph.D. from Yale University and a B.S. from UC Berkeley.

Her research emphasizes reducing environmental impact through solvent optimization, recyclable solvents, and novel bio-based materials. She explores applications in biofuel production, birch bark valorization, and CO₂-mediated processes. Her work bridges academic research with undergraduate mentorship, emphasizing hands-on student involvement in engineering solutions for sustainability challenges.
