Zhaohui Tong

Zhaohui Tong is an Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at the University of Florida. She holds a PhD from Georgia Institute of Technology and has industry experience in bioenergy process consulting. Her research focuses on sustainable biopolymer systems, bio-nanocomposites, and converting biomass into fuels, chemicals, and value-added products. Key areas include lignin depolymerization, green composites, and biofuel process optimization. She collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to advance applications in agriculture and environmental sustainability.
