Lindsay Roberts is a Course Instructor (Oboe) at the Schulich School of Music, McGill University, and holds academic and performance roles across multiple institutions in Quebec. She serves as Principal Oboe with the Orchestre symphonique de Sherbrooke and holds Second Oboe/English Horn positions with several other orchestras, including Orchestre symphonique de Laval and Les Grands Ballets de Montréal. Active in chamber music, she co-founded the Choros Wind Quintet and Hautbois Etc., and is a member of the contemporary music ensemble Cassiopée.
Educated at Indiana University (B.Mus. in Performance) and McGill University (M.Mus. in Orchestral Studies), Roberts specializes in woodwind performance and pedagogy. Her teaching extends beyond McGill to include Concordia University, Vanier College, and Cégep de Drummondville. Her professional activities bridge classical and contemporary repertoires, emphasizing collaborative performance and innovation in concert experiences.
Roberts’ career focuses on orchestral performance, chamber music leadership, and music education, reflecting her commitment to both traditional and experimental musical practices in Quebec.
