Lindsay E. Davis, Pharm.D., serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Midwestern University College of Pharmacy (Glendale Campus). She concurrently holds a full-time position with Pfizer's Internal Medicine Field Medical Group since June 2022, covering Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon, and Vancouver, Washington for the Cardiology & Metabolism Team. Her academic appointments and clinical work demonstrate dual commitments to pharmaceutical education and cardiovascular therapeutics.
Dr. Davis earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Arizona in 2003 and completed adult acute care residency training at Phoenix Veterans Affairs Medical Center (2009-2010). She is currently pursuing a Master's in Strategic Leadership through Penn State. Her educational background informs her dual expertise in clinical pharmacy and academic leadership development.
Research interests center on Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, with particular emphasis on preceptor development systems. Her work bridges clinical practice through her Pharmacist Orthostatic Intolerance Clinic (specializing in orthostatic hypotension and POTS) and educational innovation via the Habits of Preceptors Project. Analysis of her publication record reveals two dominant trajectories: cardiovascular outcomes research (particularly heart failure management with sacubitril/valsartan and PCSK9 inhibitors in geriatric populations) and educational methodology studies focused on preceptor competency rubrics and feedback systems.

As Strategic Lead for the Habits of Preceptors Project, Dr. Davis has developed national preceptor development platforms and rubric-based assessment tools that have generated significant scholarly output. Her clinical work includes facilitating a Pharmacist Orthostatic Intolerance Clinic under collaborative practice agreement, demonstrating integration of academic expertise into direct patient care. Leadership roles span educational innovation at Midwestern University and industry-based medical affairs at Pfizer, reflecting hybrid academic-industry career development.
