Linda Renzulli serves as Department Head and Professor of Sociology at Purdue University, specializing in the intersection of organizations and stratification within educational systems spanning K-12 and higher education contexts.

Dr. Renzulli's research centers on charter school dynamics, examining legislative frameworks, institutional formation, racial/ethnic segregation patterns, and organizational failure mechanisms within public education. Her current National Science Foundation-funded project investigates Parent Teacher Associations as structural forces influencing school stratification. This work extends her foundational contributions to understanding how organizational forms reshape educational equity landscapes, with methodological approaches blending quantitative analysis of large-scale datasets with institutional theory frameworks.
