Linda Pereksta is a Professor of Music at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, teaching Flute, Aural Skills, and Chamber Music. She concurrently serves as Principal Piccolo for the Madison Symphony Orchestra. Previously, she held positions at University of Mississippi, Tulane University, and was a tenured member of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra.

Her research focuses on historical performance practice, particularly Baroque flute repertoire and 20th-century compositions. She maintains active performance engagements with period instrument ensembles globally.
