Linda Nell is an acting Professor of Sociology with a Focus on Theory at the University of Göttingen during the 2023/24 winter semester while maintaining her position as a research associate and coordinator of the Graduate School of Sociology at the University of Münster's Institute of Sociology. She completed her doctorate at Bielefeld University in 2020, focusing on legal theory and global legal pluralism.
Her research interests include sociological theory (systems theory, pragmatism, phenomenology), legal sociology, sociology of knowledge, and qualitative methods like macrohermeneutics. She has contributed to projects on reproductive medicine and family law, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches.
