Linda Johnsen

Linda Johnsen is a Researcher at the Institute of Cell and Tissue Culture Technologies under the Department of Biotechnology and Food Science at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU). Her work focuses on biotechnology and metabolic programming, particularly in the context of maternal gestational diabetes affecting neonatal adipose tissue development. She is currently involved in a research project funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) from May 2024 to August 2026.

Her research intersects cell biology, tissue engineering, and molecular genetics, addressing how metabolic conditions in pregnancy influence offspring health.
