Dr. Chandrasekhar Yallampalli is a Professor at Baylor College of Medicine, holding joint appointments in the departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology (via Basic Sciences and Perinatology Research Laboratories) and Molecular and Cellular Biology. His research focuses on vascular adaptations during pregnancy, placental function, and maternal-fetal health interactions. He leads the Basic Sciences Perinatology Research Laboratory, investigating hypertension in pregnancy, fetal programming of adult diseases, and adipose tissue roles in gestational diabetes.
