Linda Ernstsen is a Professor in Public Health at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), affiliated with the Department of Public Health and Nursing within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. She is also associated with the Cardiac Exercise Research Group and the Centre for Green Shift in the Built Environment. Her work focuses on public health, social epidemiology, and the interplay between physical activity, mental health, and disease progression across the lifespan.

Sustainability in healthcare and aging populations are also key themes in her work.
