Linda Culbertson is a Professor of Education and Director of Elementary Student Teaching at Grove City College, with a career spanning over three decades in education. She holds a Doctorate in Education (D.Ed.) from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a Master’s in Education Certification from Edinboro University, and a Bachelor’s in Arts from Grove City College.
Research & Academic Interests: Her work focuses on literacy development, alternative assessment methods, youth mental health, and teacher professional development. She emphasizes practical strategies for integrating children’s literature into classroom instruction and fostering reflective practices among student teachers.
Publications & Presentations: Her scholarship centers on early literacy assessment, teacher training, and inclusive education. Key themes include bridging traditional and alternative evaluation methods, enhancing classroom instruction through literature, and promoting mental health awareness in educational settings.
