Lina Wang is a Research Fellow in the Section for Plant Biochemistry within the Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Science at the University of Copenhagen. Her work focuses on advancing biotechnological approaches for natural product synthesis through plant metabolic engineering.
Her research spans Metabolic Engineering, Plant Biochemistry, and Synthetic Biology with emphasis on terpenoid and isoprenoid biosynthesis. She develops innovative whole-cell biocatalytic systems to engineer metabolic pathways that bypass traditional biochemical constraints, enabling sustainable production of high-value natural compounds.
