Dr. Lina Montoya is an Assistant Professor in the School of Data Science and Society and the Department of Biostatistics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a joint appointment at the Gillings School of Global Public Health. Her research focuses on causal inference, precision medicine, and dynamic treatment regimes, particularly in the contexts of the U.S. criminal legal system and HIV care adherence in sub-Saharan Africa.
