Lina Hajje

Ms. Lina Hajje is a full-time Lecturer of Mathematics at the College of Engineering, West Texas A&M University (WTAMU). She joined the university in 2009 after prior teaching roles, including at Amarillo College. Her educational background includes a B.S. in Economics from Saint Joseph University and an M.S. in Economics from WTAMU. She also completed all graduate coursework for a second M.S. in Mathematics, though her thesis was deferred upon accepting a full-time teaching position in 2007.

Her teaching portfolio includes core mathematics courses such as College Algebra, Business Mathematics, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus I, delivered both online and in traditional classroom settings. With over 15 years of full-time and 5 years of part-time teaching experience, she actively participates in university committees, including the I Am WT committee. She is also expanding her expertise in online education through the Effective Online Teaching Practices course.
